One question I sometimes ask people I first meet is "Do you have a hero and if you do, who is it?" I have found this question opens the door to many other conversations. I have also found that it gives the answering party an opportunity to learn something new about themselves.
So, I was just wondering, "Who your hero is?" If you never thought about it before, you may be surprised at your answer. Give this question some thought. You may learn something new about yourself.
Remember, there are no wrong or right answers to this question. Feel free to share your thoughts.

- I am a first time blogger but eager to learn. Not quite sure what the focus of this blog site will be but perhaps I will use it as a forum to discuss my Christian faith. But enough about that. Basic facts on me: I'm married to Tom for 20 years. We have 3 wonderful children. I am a Nurse Practitioner in adult health working in the field of Cardiology. I have a private practice in the field of Psychiatry as an NP as well. I teach at the local college. I am a Sunday school teacher at my church. I help with the school events when they are in need. I know it sounds busy but it's not that bad. All my jobs are PT and I am very organized.

The more I think about it, My heros don't wear costumes with 3D letters on their chests. They look like ordinary people.
